Participants in World War II : ウィキペディア英語版
World War II by country

Nearly every country in the world participated in World War II, with the exception of a few states that remained neutral. The Second World War pitted two alliances against each other, the Axis powers and the Allied powers. The leading Axis powers were Nazi Germany, the Kingdom of Italy and the Empire of Japan; while the United Kingdom and France with their colonial empires, China, the Soviet Union and the United States were the main Allied powers.
Even though the Axis had the support of a handful of minor allies and client states, by 1945 almost every single country in the world had declared war on them, although many of them did so only at the eleventh hour.
==National impacts==
The countries involved in or affected by World War II are listed here alphabetically, with a description of their role in the conflict.
